Yote the Coyote Crowned Mascot Champion-Earns a Three-Peat
LA GRANDE, Ore. – It just may be that a new dynasty has quietly begun in the CCC, as No. 2 seed and defending champion,Yote the Coyote from the College of Idaho has defeated No. 1 seed Corban's Cadmar the Warrior in the finals to win his third consecutive Mascot Challenge.
With 860 votes cast Yote captured 550 or 64% of the vote. Cadmar received 36% or 310 votes.
Yote and Cadmar have advanced and will represent the CCC in the first ever NAIA-SIDA Mascot Challenge that will take place shortly after the conference challenge is completed. Thirty two NAIA mascots will advance to the national challenge that will also take place on twitter.
