Yote Defends His Title in the CCC Mascot Championship
LA GRANDE, Ore. – College of Idaho’s Yote the Coyote has earned back-to-back titles, defeating Corban’s Cadmar the Warrior in the final round of the Third Annual Cascade Collegiate Conference Mascot Challenge.
Yote earned 578 votes in the championship round to become the first mascot to defend their title in the competition’s three year history.
Cadmar held the number one seed throughout the tournament but his 486 votes wasn’t enough to claim the championship.
During the four week voting period, the CCC Facebook page grew by 245 followers and the tournament totaled a record 4,029 votes during all four rounds.
