The Eastern Oregon University women's soccer program welcomed a new member to it's 2010 roster Monday, Sarah Alison Milne.

Milne, a defender, is currently at Columbia Basin College where she has been the team captain her freshman and sophomore seasons. In 2008 she was named as an Eastern Region All-Star on the NWAACC Champion CBC squad. Last season she led Columbia Basin to a second-place NWAACC finish and was named a NWAACC All-Star.

"I am very excited that Sarah has chosen EOU to continue here academic and athletic career," Eastern Oregon University Athletic Director Rob Cashell said. "She brings collegiate experience to our program and will no doubt be a leader on and off the field."

Milne, from Port Orchard, Wash., was named second team All-Narrows League and first team All-Kitsap in her junior and senior years of high school at South Kitsap High School. Her mother played volleyball at Olympic College, and her father ran track at Olympic.

"I decided that I still have two more years of college soccer in me and Eastern Oregon gave me that opportunity," Milne said. "The area is beautiful and I think I could have a great college experience at Eastern."
