PORTLAND, Ore. – Oregon Tech’s Brittany Cherry, a 5-10 junior forward from Pasco, Wash., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in women’s basketball.
It is the first honor of the season for Cherry.
Cherry was instrumental in a pair of come-from-behind road victories last week, averaging 10.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists as the Hustlin’ Owls defeated Northwest Christian 61-54 and Corban 60-54.
