KIRKLAND, Wash. – Corban College and Northwest University battled to a scoreless 0-0 tie in two overtimes this afternoon in Cascade Conference play.

Neither team could find the goal net after 110 minutes of play as Northwest U. out shot the Warriors from Corban, 31-7. NU’s senior Matt Walton had 10 shots, 4 shots on goal but none would find the back of the net as Corban’s Aaron Franklin (NAIA National Player of the Week and CCC Defensive Player of the Week) shut out the Eagles with 12 saves on the day and brought his scoreless streak to 241 minutes without giving up a goal. Northwest’s goalkeeper, junior Brian Swanson tallied 3 saves in goal for the Eagles. NU had 12 corner kicks to Corban’s four.

It was a physical and tightly officiated contest with 37 fouls being whistled which also included a combined seven yellow cards among the two teams and three red cards being issued to Northwest.
